- A smaller 49 kWh battery pack, expected to have a WLTP range of 344 km.
- A bigger 61 kWh battery pack with a claimed ARAI range of up to 543km when fully charged.
Electric motors that are state of the art are used to power these batteries. The smaller 49kWh unit generates 144 PS and the bigger 61kWh unit increases the generation to 174 PS. The two have a spirited torque of about 192 Nm, and the power is supplied either by a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) configuration in the Indian market. The battery packs themselves are high-capacity devices constructed of 120 Lithium-ion cells and have an Advanced Thermal Management System, which guarantees that they will work under extreme temperatures: between -30 o C and 60 o C. In its whole unit, it is IP67 water and dust-resistant.

The most important factor is safety and the e Vitara had a commendable rating of 5 stars in Bharat NCAP crash tests.
