On Tuesday, Redmi affirmed that the Note 15 5G 108 Master Pixel Edition would soon be released in India. Although there is no information about particular features, the Xiaomi sub-brand gave a preview of the design of the phone, showing a thin phone with a curved display and possibly a metal casing. The right side of the handset is clean. It is likely that soon the company will declare the exact date of the launch in India.

Redmi Note 15 5G will be released on January 6, 2026.

The Xiaomi sub brand announced the coming of the phone through a post on X. In addition a special Amazon microsite has already been launched, not only with the January 6, 2026 date definitely established, but also the e-commerce site is now assured as its sales partner. Although the official launch date is fixed, the crucial specifications and features of the handset have not been established yet.

Redmi Note 15 5G 108 Master Pixel Edition will be an exclusive of Amazon India.

In terms of design, Redmi has given a preview of a design with a curved screen and a slim body, which may be surrounded by metal. The controls (power and volume) are supposed to be located to the right side, the left side is depicted to be clean.

In addition to the formal teases, Indian model tipster Yogesh Brar on X just recently leaked major specifications on the Indian model. The handset is also expected to have a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED and an unspecified Snapdragon chipset, and HyperOS. The camera features can be 108 megapixels as the main imager, and it is supported by more than 5500mAh battery capacity. More information is expected to be available in the near future.

It is necessary to mention that these details are not similar to previous leaks. In a prior report, it was proposed that Redmi Note 15 5G would have an AMOLED display with a resolution of 6.77-inch (1,080 x 2,392 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate. The approximate dimensions of the phone (164 x 75.42 x 7.35mm) and weight (178g) were also indicated in that report. Also, it asserted that the device would run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and ship with HyperOS 2 which is an Android 15-based operating system.
