The New Triumph Tracker 400 officially released has the identical engine tuning as the India version of the Thruxton 400.
The 400cc Evolution
The Triumph 400cc is where it all began with the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X being launched in India in 2023. Following the success of that internationally, Triumph has recently unveiled Tracker 400. This recent move in the expansion of the range is a retro-inspired roadster targeted at customers who are fond of the old-school, flat-track motorcycle appearance.

Stripped-Back Custom Look
Design-wise, Tracker 400 breaks with its siblings and has a dedicated flat-track bodywork and far sportier ergonomic arrangement. This forward lean is more direct and the handlebars are 23 mm wider and 134 mm lower than those of the regular Speed 400. To complete the factory custom theme, the motorcycle is also a stubby-tail, removable seat cowl, and number board-equipped.

Triumph Tracker 400 Specs: Styling and Structural Updates
The styling of the Tracker 400 is well represented with three different color schemes, which include; Aluminum Silver Gloss, Racing Yellow, and a multi toned Phantom Black. The Black one is especially elaborate, with Dark Silver, Vanilla White, and Pearl Metallic White accent to create a high-contrast, personalized appearance.

Upgraded Suspension & Shorter Wheelbase
The uniqueness of Tracker 400 is not limited to the skin but several major chassis revisions were made. Although it still uses the steel tube frame and suspension design as the Speed 400, geometry modifications have led to a shorter and tightened wheelbase to increase agility. The forks and big piston preload gas monoshock control the ride, which are 43 mm USD. The bike is held down by 17 inch wheels that are shod with high quality Pirelli rubber and braking is done by discs at both ends that are upheld by dual channel ABS.

Engine & Transmission Specs
The Tracker 400 is powered by the Triumph TR-series that has been revamped to 398cc. It provides a healthy power of 41.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque using Thruxton 400 mapping, which is more aggressive. This engine is combined with a six speed transmission and a slip and assist clutch that allows down shifting with ease. There is its reputation of delivering a punchy mid-range and a smooth power delivery and hence such a refined single-cylinder unit, which makes the Tracker as good as it is sleek.

Built for The Modern Rider
Not to mention the powertrain, the Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400 reflect the classic philosophy of Triumph: a smooth combination of modern technologies and classic spirit. Riders enjoy a package of rider aids such as ride-by-wire throttle, adjustable traction control and dual channel ABS. The cockpit has an old fashioned speedometer in analog format with a functional LCD, and a torque-help clutch allows the car to change gears without any difficulty. Practicality is also in focus, and the service intervals of the class-leading are also evaluated, as well as the two-year, unlimited-mile warranty which is available to all official accessories.
Made in India, But Not for India?
The Tracker 400 is currently manufactured in India but it is not likely to be introduced locally in the short run. Triumph seems to consider the model too niche in the existing market, although a solid enough reception on enthusiasts’ part might be the push to turn the brand around.
India Launch Status: According to the rumored triumph tracker 400 launch date in India will not be confirmed now, but mid 2026 triumph tracker 400 india launch happened.
