The movie earned an amazing 351.75 crore within a period of ten days, becoming the highest grossing second weekend. It has become a hit through a fantastic word of mouth and is determined to cross the 500 crore mark after overtaking Pushpa 2.

The Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, with Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal among the star cast, was the only film that had surprised many to become the highest grossing movie of all time. The word-of-mouth led to its tremendous post-weekend growth, making the second Friday outing better than the first day opening. The movie achieved the largest second weekend ever with more than 110 crores on its opening two days (Saturdays and Sundays) combined.

The amount earned by Dhurandhar in just one week was 207 crore. It earned Rs.32 crore on its second Friday and a staggering Rs.53 crore on second Saturday which was a growth of Rs.63 percent over the Friday figures. Actually, this is far beyond the first Saturday figures. It is projected to make even more on Sunday. On second Sunday the film earned approximately Rs.59 crore. This is colossal because the movie has now taken the largest second Sunday and the largest second weekend collection of over a hundred and fifty percent of the crore. It will not be surprising anymore when it will soon reach into the Rs.500 crore club in the near future.

This is also the second weekend record of Allu Arjun with Pushpa 2 because this movie has surpassed it and is the largest second weekend of any movie. Following this colossal second weekend, the film has started on a favourable note on the second Monday. It has earned Rs.14.61 crore in the evening. After the last friday realsed dhurandhar box office collection day 11, current collection is up to Rs.365.36 crore.
